Becoming
The person who thinks they have arrived has stopped becoming. The person who lets one moment, one decision, one failure define them has handed away their future.
Always in process. Never static. Never finished.
You are not the worst day, nor are you the best day either.
You are what you do next.
Every failure is a tuition payment. Each setback is a rep. A loss is just information for the next version of the person who is still being built.
Do not attach to a single definition of yourself. Definitions are cages dressed up as identities.
The person you were last year cannot live this year. Who you are now will not survive next year. Each version dies so the next can stand.
Continuous learning. Constant pursuit. Forward.
Remember, you could not be here now if you weren’t there then. Honor the person who got you to this floor. Then build the next one.
Do not let anyone label you while you are still in motion.
“Label me after I am dead and gone. Only then is my complete body of work revealed in total.”
