Master The Response

Do not allow anger to control your actions.

Do not be ruled by basic passions or impulses.

Anger is not a virtue, though it often attempts to disguise itself as one. It claims to be strength, justice, or conviction—but more often it is only impulse wearing a mask.

You will not be completely free from anger. It is human. But you can choose where it lives.

Keep it within the confines of your mind—where, with time and practice, it can be examined, reduced, and tamed.

Train yourself to regulate your responses.

Strength is not found in reaction.

It is found in restraint.

“Anger, if not restrained, is frequently more hurtful to us than the injury that provokes it.” - Seneca
