Master Your Emotions
“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” – Jon Kabat-Zinn
What tools do you use to shift, amplify, or dampen your emotions?
Emotions are energy. And just like a dial, you can learn to turn them up, down, or completely shift their frequency. Think of how a song can completely alter your mood—some tracks ignite focus and fire, while others plunge you into stillness or sadness.
Now go further—
Movement changes emotion. A walk, a run, a workout—physiology drives psychology.
A cold plunge, a breathwork session, or a change in temperature can act as a reset switch for your nervous system.
Venting may feel helpful, but without exploring options or solutions, you simply loop—a full circle that leads nowhere.
Ask yourself:
What tools do you really use when you're off?
And more importantly—do they work?
Because if not, you may be slipping into emotional decapitation—a state where you're physically present but mentally and emotionally absent. Checked out. Disconnected. Numb.
