No Guarantee

You can do everything right and still lose.

You train perfectly. You prepare without a gap. You execute the plan flawlessly, every step clean — and the outcome still goes against you. The race is lost. The deal dies. The body fails anyway.

The work does not purchase the result. It never did. You were sold a lie somewhere — that enough effort forces the world to pay out. It does not. Effort earns you a chance. Nothing more. The outcome was never yours to command, and a man who needs the win to justify the work will break the first time he does everything right and still comes up empty.

Uncouple them. Do the work because it is yours to do. Own the effort completely and the outcome not at all.

Control what you can. Release what you cannot.

Then go again.
