No Room for Regret
Can you be proud of the work you’ve done? Does it reflect your best, or do you know that you simply did just enough to complete the task, falling short of your full capability? This should bother you. You should not be satisfied with an effort that falls short of your true potential. You cannot fool yourself in this assessment; the truth is immediately upon you. In all things, give yourself fully, leaving no room for doubt. Anything less dishonors the life you have been blessed with.
If you fall short, do not succumb to depression or self-pity—this is a shameful waste. Simply acknowledge the fact, resolve to correct it, and move forward. Fools and the weak-minded linger in excuses and regret. You are a person of action and resolve who learns quickly, fights forward, always progresses, and aims to do better by giving your best.
