Quiet Pride
Proud of my children.
Watching them grow and mature in their own unique ways—becoming more themselves with each passing season. Watching them build skills, confidence, and resilience through effort, frustration, and persistence.
They are learning how to stand back up when things are hard. How to try again. How to keep going.
Most of all, they have remarkable hearts. They notice others. They express kindness naturally, without performance or expectation. They give freely, not because they are told to—but because it is who they are becoming.
There is no greater pride than witnessing character take root.
“Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.” — C.S. Lewis
