Remain Teachable

“It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows.” – Epictetus

Be open to learning—from anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Wisdom does not discriminate. It wears many faces. It speaks through unexpected voices.

Hold back your impulse to judge. Resist the urge to prescribe. You are not every man’s physician.

You, too, are a patient—wounded, healing, imperfect, and in process…
Imagine two patients lying side-by-side on the operating table.
What folly it would be for one to instruct the surgeon on how to heal the other.

Stay humble.
Stay open.
Encourage others and be encouraged in return.
The greatest teachers often come disguised as strangers, setbacks, and moments you least expect.
