Adjust the Sails
If it stops being fun, it may be time to look for something else.
Do not confuse fun with ease. Challenge, hard work, and even stress can live inside meaningful enjoyment. What matters is whether the effort still feels alive—whether it still pulls you forward rather than hollowing you out.
Pay attention when the winds shift.
There are seasons when persistence is required, and seasons when stubbornness becomes waste. Wisdom is knowing the difference. When the internal resistance grows quiet and curiosity begins knocking again, listen.
Adjust your sails. Chart a new course.
Life is too short to move through it disengaged. There are too many paths available—and too little time—to spend it doing something that no longer feeds your spirit. Enjoy the journey while you’re on it.
