Stand Firm
Be clear on your goal.
Not vaguely. Not someday. Know exactly what you’re moving toward. When you are tired, stressed, or tested—and you will be—have your list of why’s ready. Do not wait until the moment arrives to search for them. Prepare them in advance.
Pressure exposes weak resolve.
When fatigue clouds your thinking and doubt creeps in, call upon your reasons. They exist to anchor you when emotion tries to pull you off course. Without them, quitting becomes easy. Rational. Tempting.
Do not quit.
Do not give up.
Do not back down.
Have resolve. Stand firm. Let your commitment outlast the discomfort.
“Most people fail not because of lack of ability, but because of lack of commitment.” — Vince Lombardi
