Carry Only What Is Yours

Why do you allow your mind to return to dark places—flooding itself with negativity, regret, and shame?
Why do you permit these ruminations to linger, unchecked and unchallenged?

There is work to be done.

Lock in. Lock down. Go back to the truth.

Why do you accept more blame than is proper? Why do you assume responsibility for things that were never yours to carry? Ego, perhaps—disguised as responsibility.

Your shoulders are strong. They can bear much. But strength does not mean you must carry everything.

If you shed the weight that does not belong to you, you may finally have access to the weight you were meant to bear.

Own your part—and only your part.
Let others carry what belongs to them.

You are not responsible for everyone.
It is enough—more than enough—to be responsible for yourself.

“You are only responsible for your own actions, not the reactions or failures of others.” — Viktor Frankl
