Own What Is Yours
Take ownership.
Own your part—clearly, honestly, without distortion.
Live in truth. Do not shy away from your role in any matter. See it as it is, not as ego inflates it and not as shame exaggerates it.
Accept your part. Learn from it. Move forward.
Ruminating does nothing. Wallowing does nothing. Proclaiming yourself a martyr does nothing. These only slow you down and keep you tethered to the past.
If you have caused harm, repair what you can—and what you must. Some damage will not be within your control to fix. That is reality.
Your responsibility is limited, but it is firm:
Your acknowledgment
Your attempt to repair
Your commitment to do better
And then—you move forward.
There is no virtue in staying stuck. Growth requires motion. Get moving.
