Feelings Follow

You tend to get the order backwards. You wait to feel ready, then act. It runs the other way.

Feelings follow behavior. You do not feel like training and then train — you train, and the willingness shows up in the work. You do not feel brave and then move — you move, and the courage arrives after the first step.

The feeling you are waiting for is on the far side of the action. It will not meet you on the couch.

So the dread, the tiredness, the flat "I don't want to" — that is not information. It is just the feeling that comes before behavior, lying to you about what comes after.

Stop waiting to feel ready. You will never feel ready. You will only, after you move, feel like someone who moved.

Act first.

The feeling catches up.
