Rule Yourself First

Rule yourself well. Everything else follows. Do what you choose to do—not what convenience, fear, or distraction dictates. As a king governs himself first. He treats his time with respect, knowing it is finite and valuable.

Wasting it without regard is not rest. It is negligence. And it is dishonorable.

Character is the foundation. Discipline and integrity are the proof. They are not conditional. They are practiced daily, especially when no one is watching.

Do not fear the opinions of those you would never strive alongside. Their judgment carries no weight in your kingdom.

“The first and best victory is to conquer self.” — Plato
