Already in Your Grasp
You cannot buy your way to a state you already own.
Stop reaching. The thing you are chasing out in the world — the peace, the contentment, the steadiness you think the next achievement finally delivers — is not out there. It was never out there. You are hunting externally for something that was only ever internal, and the hunt itself is the thing keeping it from you.
This is the lie your greed tells, and it never stops telling it: that the answer is one more acquisition away. One more win, one more purchase, one more circumstance, and then you will feel whole. But an external answer to an internal need does not arrive. It cannot. You could get everything you are reaching for and still feel exactly this empty, because emptiness was never about what your hands were holding.
Your mind does not conjure reality. It governs your experience of it. You cannot imagine a fortune into existence. But you can decide, right now, to meet this moment with peace instead of grasping — and that was the only thing you were ever actually chasing.
It is not out there.
It is in your hand.
You are just too busy reaching to open it.
