Common as Dirt

Your ideas are not original. Neither are your dreams. Whatever you guard as special — the vision, the plan, the thing you believe only you have seen — someone already thought it, already wanted it, already stood exactly where you stand. Been there, done that, long before you.

Sit in that for a moment. Then understand you have been protecting the wrong thing.

The idea was never the asset. Ten thousand people have had yours. It is the cheapest thing in the room. What is rare is the one person willing to do the brutal, unglamorous work of dragging the idea out of imagination and into reality. The concept is free. The execution costs everything, and few pay it.

Stop hoarding the concept like treasure. It is as common as dirt. No one can steal the only thing that matters — your willingness to build what they will not.

Admiration belongs to the ones who turn ideas into reality.
